Stock Markets Update: Indices lose huge in one session

Stock Markets have faced huge losses on 20th December, 2023. After registering huge gains for many sessions, indices faced huge losses. International Stock Markets did not end up with gains and that resulted in these losses. Hence, BSE lost 930.88 points to close at 70,506.31 and Nifty lost 302.95 points to close at 21,150.15 mark.

BSE Sensex started trading high at 71,647.66 mark and then continued to trade between 71,913.07 to 70,302.60 range. Index started facing huge losses from the first hour. In the last hours, the selling pressure has increased further. Hence, BSE ended the trading session at 70,506.31 by losing 930.88 points.

Nifty Sensex started trading at 21,543.50 mark and it hit highest for the day at 21,593.00. Nifty50 hit the lowest at 21,087.35. Index started a relatively positive level. But it started crashing from mid-session till the last hour. Hence, Nifty50 ended by losing 302.95 points on 21,150.15.

Indian Rupee traded at Rs.83.18 against US Dollar on 20th December 2023. Except for HDFC Bank share no company shares have registered gains in SENSEX30. Stock Markets shocked many with the trading on this day. Every stock and share registered big losses. BSE Index has lost more than 1000 points in this session at one point. Traders will be hoping for better trading from next session.
